Things to do

Botley is well placed for visiting local attractions with lots to see and do for a great family day out.

Surrounding Botley is the beautiful and peaceful Manor Farm Country Park, which comprises of 400 acres of scenic farmland edging the River Hamble.  Within the park lies the historic Manor Farm, a working Victorian farmyard. There are many walking, cycling and horse riding trails within the park and the Queen Elizabeth Activities Centre which provides sporting and leisure activities for special needs visitors.

If you enjoy walking there are a variety of self-guided trails around Botley which provide glimpses of Botley’s history and take in the beautiful countryside.

Botley Mills is well worth a visit. Currently being restored, the Mills today offer many independent and specialist shops.  In September, Botley Mills participate in the Heritage Open Days scheme where visitors can tour the old mills and see the plans for the new museum and heritage centre.

Fairthorne Manor is a YMCA and holds a number of day and residential camps for children and groups.
There are two equestrian centres within and around Botley; Pinkmead Farm and Shearcroft.

Seeing and being a tourist is thirsty work! So why not stop for coffee at Delicieux, our French themed cafe, or find the delightful Elsie's Traditional Teashop at the very end of the Square in the direction of All Saints' and Botley Primary.   And of course there are the pubs and Restaurants.
